Back to Mine 03:50
Back to Mine I don’t care About the shoes you wear The way you wear your hair I don’t care I don’t care That your boyfriend’s in a band And that he begs to understand Like I do (Chorus) Because all I wanna know Is if you want to go Back to Mine (Back to Mine) Yeah I don’t care What you got up there And if it’s filled with air I don’t care I don’t care That you say you’re not my type Because you know this feels so right I don’t care (Chorus) Because all I wanna know Is if you want to go Back to Mine (Back to Mine) And if you like we’ll skip the show If you say you’ll go Back to mine (Back to Mine)

Rabbit Song 03:48
The wind in our sails Got us at a full heel We’re rushing down the line Leaving everything behind Now we’re starting a new Having nothing to do With all that shit that don’t make sense Got no place inside our heads And we’ll leave without saying goodbye Don’t take it personal that’s just our style Our foes may be sly But this ship it can fly It can sail like the wind It can out run anything With the wind at our back On a one way track Even though we’ve made mistakes Leave it all in our wake We will never return To the place where we learned Everything that we know It has never been our home And we’ll leave without saying goodbye Don’t take it personal that’s just our style And we’ll say full sail ahead Because we’d rather be dead Than caught in this act Of always heading back To the start

Green Room 04:10
You’re a liar You’re a liar and you’re cold We should retire We should retire ‘fore we’re old Cause we’ve been wandering around for a A few years It seems we’ve been abandoned It’s just as we feared And we’ll never sit still We’re always to blame More likely to burn out than Fade away And we’re not getting younger… No we’re not getting younger…
4.
Run Away 03:20
Run away, with me Picked out a place, by the sea I know you’re scared, to see me leave So run away, with me Nothing for, us here Let’s quit our jobs, let’s disappear They’ll understand within a year There’s nothing for, us here We got nothing to show for what we’ll leave behind Let’s get up and go, I’m sure we’ll find Paradise and more Waiting outside your door Waiting outside you door Run away, with me Run away, with me
5.
Orchid 04:06
Don’t know why I will say this But for the past week You’ve been darting in and out of my head Before I sleep And then in the mid-morning And at around noon Think I’ll walk by your work Just to happen To run into you Now I’m calling your phone I’ve been drinking all day There’s a show at that dive And we’re all going anyway And you’ll tag along But you’ll leave confused Because you’ll ask me upstairs But I’ll refuse And I know that I told you Some things about me As I spilled my guts out In the backseat And you’re friends don’t seem To have much nice to say But it’s only about Me You And our bodies I bet yours is so sweet I’m not claiming that this gets easier, Just gets easier living alone

about

The "Basements" EP is 5 of our songs, arranged to be listened to from start to finish. It was conceptualized and recorded at the same time as the songs from the “Pretty Irresponsible” EP (2017).

It is not only meant to be thematically similar to the previous EP, but is meant to be continuation of it.

As always, we recommend that you listen to these songs on the highest possible volume.
